Nestled away in the quiet, forested enclave of Misorano, Chalet Hikaru offers a rare balance of tranquility and privacy with complete convenience. Just 8 minutes’ drive to both Hakuba 47 and Happo-One Resorts, and with the ski shuttle stop only 50 metres away, the slopes are always within easy reach. For après-ski, a short stroll leads to Echoland’s lively dining and nightlife scene.

This exceptional 200-square-metre chalet sleeps up to 12 guests across 4 ensuite bedrooms plus an additional flexible room, ideal for families or groups of friends.

LIVING AREAS

The heart of Chalet Hikaru is its expansive open-plan living space, designed to showcase stunning mountain views. Bathed in natural light, it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the day. Equipped with immersive sound systems and thoughtfully designed Japanese–Scandinavian interiors, the living area is the perfect setting for both lively gatherings and quiet moments of relaxation.

A modern kitchen with a generous island and a large dining table brings everyone together for shared meals and lively evenings. The living area flows seamlessly onto a spacious balcony with BBQ facilities, perfect for après-ski gatherings in every season.

BEDROOMS

There are 4 bedrooms on the lower floor. Three of the bedrooms have a king size bed that can be split into to singles for maximum flexibility. The fourth bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds, sleeping 4 people. All bedrooms have an ensuite shower room.

BATHROOMS

Indulge in the ultimate relaxation with an authentic Japanese ofuro bath, the perfect way to rejuvenate after a day on the slopes. Complementing this are 6 modern showers and 5 toilets, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests. Every ensuite bedroom has been thoughtfully designed with comfort and functionality in mind.

OUTDOOR FACILITIES

Chalet Hikaru combines luxury and practicality. A dedicated ski dry room keeps equipment organised and ready for the next day’s adventure. Outside, the balcony offers sweeping mountain views and a space to enjoy grilling on the BBQ under the crisp alpine sky.

Chalet Hikaru is located in Misorano, a 10 minute walk to the bustling dining and entertainment area of Echoland.

There are free shuttle buses from the bus stop a minute's walk away, with shuttle buses to Hakuba Goryu (both Escal Plaza and Iimori areas), Hakuba 47, Happo-one, and Iwatake resorts, giving you great flexibility to explore all of what Hakuba has to offer.

IMPORTANT: Shuttle buses to ski resorts normally operate from late December until the end of March. If use of buses is essential, please check availability and your travel dates before making a reservation.

Rental car recommended for full freedom and flexibility to get around. Cars can be rented locally (international driving license essential).

-BBQ facilities available to rent upon request for a charge of ¥5,000. It includes BBQ grill, 1 pack of charcoal, fire starter, lighter, BBQ tongues. From mid April to November only.

-Cribs are available upon request for a charge of ¥2,000. It includes mattress and bedding.
