Fully designed by Hakuba Resort Homes, Yugen is a luxury chalet with four spacious bedrooms, each having its own sleek ensuite. A large onsen-style indoor bath opening to a private deck. Floor-to-ceiling windows framing verdant views of the forest and the snow-capped peaks you came here to ski. Light-filled, serene, and deliberately secluded – this is where powder days end with private onsen soaks and complete escape.

Yugen is the more spacious sister house to the elegant Yugen next door and can be booked together to accommodate larger groups.

Yugen is located in Upper Misorano, in a secluded forest setting, and is just a few minutes’ drive from the lively shops, bars and restaurants of Echoland and the slopes of Happo-one, Hakuba 47, and Goryu.

LIVING AREAS

The living areas were carefully designed so that up to 8 guests can relax or dine in comfort. The lounge, dining area and kitchen are all in one large open space on the second floor, perfect for socializing whether cooking dinner, eating at the large dining table, or chilling in front of the large flat-screen TV.

A spacious kitchen with a center island is located at the heart of the house, and is fully equipped with the latest appliances, including an induction cooktop, a full size oven, a combination microwave/oven, and a huge fridge/freezer. There are also a wide range of smaller appliances such as a rice cooker, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.

BEDROOMS

The lower floor has three bedrooms, each with a sleek ensuite. Upstairs is a fourth bedroom featuring a vaulted ceiling and its own private ensuite. All bedrooms come with a comfortable king-sized bed that can be split into two single beds, allowing flexibility for couples and single guests alike.

BATHROOMS

Three of the bedrooms have ensuite shower rooms, and the fourth bedroom has a bath as well as a shower. In addition, the house offers an exceptional onsen-style bathroom with a large sunken bath and a huge window leading to the back deck and offering views into the surrounding forest.

OUTDOOR FACILITIES

There is a spacious balcony upstairs, accessible from the dining area. Being covered, the deck offers a beautiful outdoor space for relaxing or dining in any weather.

IMPORTANT: Shuttle buses to ski resorts normally operate from late December until the end of March. If use of buses is essential, please check availability and your travel dates before making a reservation.

Rental car recommended for full freedom and flexibility to get around. Cars can be rented locally (international driving license essential).
